Unilever Transform Strategy:

Unilever believes in simplicity as it is a phrase “make it simple” so adopting this phrase ,Unilever is already pursuing transformational change and simplifying over many years in order to implement the business plan, involving integrating corporate divisions and developing company functions and solutions. Unilever has integrated over 200 local Enterprise applications into the present 4 international SAP systems architectures during an eight period to facilitate this business transformation. In fact, to accelerate innovation, the 4 national ecosystems are administered as a single unified level. Faster, more productive global innovation arises from an industrialized “develop once, deploy everywhere” approach.

In 7 years, Unilever had merged over than 200+ regional ERP systems in five national SAP landscape. To drive efficiency administration and development, assist the financial policy of enhanced collaboration with the business. To serve the € 50B business, various enterprise solution based on modern inmemory software HANA were integrated internationally in 4 months.

These small improvements will help to realize the benefits of the fundamental Enterprise system, which has already been heavily invested in. New inmemory technologies will be used to meet the requirement for handling increasing data volumes generated by company expansion, and also social networking sites, smartphones, and connected devices. Unilever has established and is executing a Sap S/4 hana plan as a result of this. It is a movement toward becoming a more dynamic, adaptive, and real time demand driven electronic corporation, with customers' digital and physical worlds properly blended into value stream. Unilever evaluated HANA technical expertise in 2012 at the SAP laboratories in Walldorf with a prototype in the financial domain.

The Regulating and Financial Analysis acceleration was installed in 2013 throughout all four largest ERP landscape, allowing periods finished on first day, soon after the successful initial tests. This was accomplished in a risk managed manner and in a record-breaking time of 4 month. The findings, which have boosted the timeliness and information quality, have indeed been praised by corporate customers. Significant economic accelerator and integration of information systems are deployed as a result of this achievement.
