For any company, mainly logistics company transport management system plays major role in maintaining their level at best. It improves operations and business partner relation strong by continuous evaluation of their services.

Those organizations with weak transport management system suffers a lot in their quality services. They suffer in many ways like they have to face challenges like:

  • ·         Increase in freight charges
  • ·         Poor material tracking system
  • ·         Lack of deliveries on time
  • ·         Poor customer services
  • ·         Unsatisfied customers
  • ·         Unstable efficiency of transportation system
  • ·         Reduced efficiency of supply chain process
  • ·         Lack of trust from customers

These are some factors which make organization weak in their transport services.

But most of the organizations with strong transport management system becomes lack in credibility and talent by diverting talent away from their core activities. The most strong organizations sometimes suffer most and starts loosing trust and quality services.




 

EXAMPLE: 

Some points are highlighted which the companies with strong transport system do not   focus. Like:

  • ·         Poor vehicle services
  • ·         Lack of customer services evaluation
  • ·         Utilization of unnecessary vehicles
  • ·         Don’t focus on vehicle drivers performance
  • ·         Only focus on money making by avoiding their core business
  • ·         Leads to shortages in inventory
  • ·         Material delay and demurrage

In this way they start losing their core activities. They must focus on delivery time, freight charges, customer services, strong tracking system, reduction in extended supply chain process to fulfil the needs of market and to maintain trust and build strong relationship with other companies in this competitive market.
