1.   Reduce alternatives in the supply chain: By reducing alternatives in the system and vendors the system can be smooth. As there are as many alternatives as much work and strategies to do.

2.   Reduce resources: Resources should be reduced and use minimum resources for sources, planning, procurement and financial matters.

3.   Reduce freight forwarders: A company should use only one or two freight forwards to avoid disconnections and also pipeline the shipments schedule in one streamline through the specific agent. 




4.      Reduce custom clearing agents: More custom clearance agents more documented work to do, companies should specify their clearing agents, it can also provide them cost cutting.

5.      Smart forecasting and planning: Logistics functions will be very smooth if companies improve their planning and forecasting of materials.
